Blended classic Middle Eastern spices with the sweet scent of cassia bark and nutmeg. Baharat literally means spice in Arabic. Many spice traders throughout the Middle East pride themselves with their own blend of Baharat.
The perfect seasoning for long slow braises or tagines with lamb in particular. As a dry marinade for grilled chops or roast meats. Baharat lends itself beautifully to soups, tomato dishes, fish stews and barbecued seafood.
